Martie 08-04-2000, 09:10 PM Hi,Im not sure what type of plan you are looking for, that might help if you state that next time? ------------------ HostCaters--We Cater Hosting www.hostcaters.com (http://www.hostcaters.com) Annette 08-04-2000, 10:17 PM I've spoken to Ben S. from veo a couple of times, and he seems like a good guy. They have a pretty active support forum, have gotten good reviews over at hostsearch.com, and are Alabanza-based. They also have a 30-day guarantee, so why not just give them a whirl if you want it now? :) ------------------ Annette Hosting Matters, Inc. http://www.hostmatters.com [This message has been edited by Annette (edited 08-04-2000).] Clay 08-05-2000, 03:40 AM I don't think they are Alabanza based. I know that a very short time ago they were Alabanza based, so they must have just moved to the VDI.net NOC (where BurstNET is located). ------------------ Web Hosting: http://www.intersurge.com Web Design: http://www.infostardesign.com Andrew Chen 08-05-2000, 07:25 AM Hmm. They're an Alabanza based host but their site is hosted at VDI. And if I'm not mistaken, their largest package (the one with 20GB bandwidth) is hosted at VDI too. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you, Andrew Chen Annette 08-05-2000, 09:07 AM The majority of veo's plans are hosted on Alabanza-servers. The only one that isn't is the big dog account w/20G. ------------------ Annette Hosting Matters, Inc. http://www.hostmatters.com Andrew Chen 08-05-2000, 10:42 AM Yeap. That's what I'm trying to say. :) Best regards, Andrew Chen Somerreign 08-05-2000, 07:03 PM Wow: thanks to everyone... I've heard one sinister whisper about Alabanza that was non-specific and maybe totally safe to ignore... Perhaps DreamHost is it, after all. This is quite a bit harder than I thought. BenS 08-05-2000, 09:42 PM Hello, Thanks for everyone's comments. I just want to clear up this VDI/Alabanza issue. About two months ago we got our new servers by Alabanza and started moving our clients to there. We are in the process of leaving the VDI NOC. However our main site itself is still hosted there. Hope that sheds some light on this issue.. Regards, Benjamin S. VeoWeb Staff http://www.veoweb.net |
