Hi all,
have anybody got sucess for configuring either ensim/plesk with tomcat to deliver jsp support ?
I have installed jdk 1.2.2 on redhat linux 6.2 & 7 also .
& installed tomcat 3.2.1 . which works well on port 8080 for both jsp, savelet . But if you want apache to talk to tomcat & server jsp & savelet , you have to add mod_jk.so as module to apache and include mod_jk.conf or tomcat-apavhe.conf file in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf . this solution works on any non Control panel based Apache server but in case of Ensim or plesk this fails.
If any of us knows how to do this , pl. help me out .
thanks in advance .

Have you done virtual hosting with Tomcat using ensim control panel.
So that all the domains can run servlet from there own domain not server IP.
Please let me know if you have done it successfully

On our server whenver the java module is tried the apache server crashes. Yes its on plesk.
On another machine without plesk it loads fine

I have even asked my isp to install it , and they have been trying for past 10 days without success.

I have not found anyone as yet who runs tomcat on a plesk box though plesk claims that it should work

You need to call ensim tech support, I have the JSP server running fine on Ensim, You need to modify some of the config files.
