Hi! Sorry if this wasnt the appropiate forum.

I have two nic cards:

- 3COM Fast EtherLink PCI 3C595-TX
- 3COM TokenLink Velocity XL PCI 3C359

Which one is better? They are old but I want to know which one to use in my main computer. Thanks in advance for you replies.

:homer: Try both of them, then you'll know.

According to some benchmark tests, it looks like the TokenLink Velocity XL is the better of the two because of lower CPU usage and a performance advantage of 13%. That's the only information I could find on them.

Well, unless you are running a token ring network, the 2nd one won't do you much good. :D

Never heard of that before, so I did a search on google and I learned something new today. :)
