We are currently seeking a new webhost provider to offer more space for our clients webhosting. The plan is to move to get our clients somewhere in the neighborhood of 300megs of space.

All webhosting is done from another location. It is not on the dedicated boxes, or the same datacenter.

We are located in FDC and although they may get a bad wrap here, our ping times are great. 100ms and below from coast to coast. These servers are geared towards the central gaming community, but can be for anyone reguardless of the location.

We also are going to start running tournies each month. The winner(s) will recieve discounts on thier servers for that month and/or website upgrades. This is still just an 'idea' that we have, but we hope to put into place very soon.

We are also hoping to provide HLTV for teams hosted with us for there matches in CAL. This, ofcourse, will depend on the team playing, and who theya re against. Basically, if its a big match, or both teams have a large following that may wish to view the match, we will provide HLTV for that game. You can also rent HLTV through us. But you must have a server with www.gear2fear.com to do so.

Any additional questions, feel free to email me, pm, post here, or visit our IRC room at #gear2fear on gamesnet. Also, our forums are available.

Thanks for your time.

Heya..
Just reading your website and I notice this
Under Network..

Network
We are connected to redundant OC3's via 100Mbps. Our datacenter has a 100% uptime guarantee.

HAHAHAH FDC has a 100% GUARENTEE/Redundant???? omg your making me laugh.. I suggest you change this load of B.S
This sorta of bull**** can get you in alot of trouble.

Also under whats new you have listed ( kernel upgrades ) that will help you personally stop DOS attacks..
<GRIN> really?

Also, I ping 56 from chicago to FDC (in chicago). Find a decent center to host with and you will have people flock to host with you.

Website isnt hosted in the same DC as servers, so im not sure why both were down for you.

Since being with FDC/acunett, i have had hardly any issues.

If you only ping 56 to a DC in your area, somethings wrong with your route, cause i have friends in FL that ping in the 50's, TX ppl also ping mid 60's, and friends from cali are getting 70's...

Thnx for pointing out the wrong info, we had originally wanted to go with the planet and colocate, but we decided to wait, and already had plenty of customers in Chicago area asking us to go there. So we did. Ill change that info ASAP. Again, thnx for pointing that out.

Also, it seems you xcant read, nowhere on our site does it say "Also under whats new you have listed ( kernel upgrades ) that will help you personally stop DOS attacks.."

It mentions mentions kernels, and it mentions firewalls, and it mentions DOS attacks. Maybe you should try and actually READ before trying to think of something smart to say.

finally, i am not going directly through FDC, i go through acunett, and they have been great thus far. Yes, they are colo'd at FDC, but the support acunett offers makes up for it...there was a minor problem in the beginning, but while most ppl here were throwing a fit and complaining, my servers were up and running just fine. And have been. I havent really experienced any problems "YET".. But if i do, hey, duh, they are very clear about what they offer. Low cost datacenter, you gotta know your risk going in. If you want 100%uptime, pay more.
