Ok... I need your honest feedback on this.

This isn't about whether to spend the money on the software, but rather to spend the time to learn something and use it and find that it doesn't pan out. I did check out the demo and didn't find the answers to these questions:

1. I am 80% Design and 20% Hosting, can I use this to bill an existing customer for a graphic done for their site. Say $100, coding and graphics. Can this be added into the system and billed to the client.

2. Domain Names, I register these and pay for these, then charge my clients. Can the software bill for this every year?

3. Can you print invoices for mailing via postal service?

4. It appeared that customers would receive online invoices, are these printable?

5. It appeared that this came with a help desk. How good is this feature, are you using it.

6. Signup emails. Are these easy to configure?

7. What do you find to be the best feature about PHPManager?

8. What do you like least about it?

9. Support concerns. Is the softwares support department good and reasonably responsive?

If you don't use PHPManager, please respond to the questions with regard to the software you use.

Thanks for you help.

1. You can modify phpManager to bill for hosting and service. You can the send the client a bill and link to make payment.

2. It does not support domain registratio yet. It is supposed to in version 2.

3. I dont think it setup to print, but it could be modified to. You could email a copy to yourself and print it out.

4. The online invoice could be printed out via print page or print email.

5. The helpdesk is alright. I think it is the weakest part of the code. The helpdesk is supposed to be improved in v2.

6. System emails are easy to configure.

7. The major advantage is the price.

8. Dissadvantages are no domain registrations, the templates are complicated to modify, the helpdesk does not support piping.

9. They have had quite a few support issues in the past six months. Mainly concerning the script calling home to operate. That appears to be fixed. The only thing was how long it took Taysoft to admint the script kept calling home.
