Hi,
I am asking for advertisers for a site we're hosting.
The site is http://www.audioscrobbler.com
You can see a banner for our company on there as an example, this will be replaced when advertisers are found.
Over recent weeks it has been featured in "The Guardian" a national UK newspaper.
It has also received international acclaim in the form of slashdot which has linked to it from stories on multiple occasions.
The community is quite technically minded and it has a reasonably active forum with developer discussions amongst others.

You can view the website stats here: http://www.audioscrobbler.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Stats&file=index

EDIT: I thought I'd add that there were an extra 1-2million hits during the slashdot period which weren't recorded to speed the site up.

We are looking for banner ads to start immediately.
We were looking at prices of $5 CPM impressions, although to begin with we may take offers.
Also, we may consider a one-time payment to get your banner listed for the whole month, we would be looking at around $150 for this but are again open to offers.
The project is new and exciting and is attracting a lot of attention as something new.

We can accept payment by paypal/nochex or credit/debit card.

Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Jim

Just a follow up,
The site has had a lot of publicity this week,
Including being on the BBC news site:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/2888431.stm
The site was mentioned again in the Guardian yesterday, and has also been on the site variety.com
Also the project has been aproached by an irish radio station called "Spin radio" for a feature
All of this means that the amount of users visiting the site has incrased dramatically,
Currently, the portal states:
We have 2187 guests and 542 members online
And it is still increasing, however, the server it runs on is currently having load problems and the project is in desperate need for advertising funds to help for better hardware,
If anyone can help the project by paying for advertising it would be much appreciated,
Thanks :)
