smash, if I had known you were going to be doing this I would never have started up in the first place ;) I'm a mathematician/computer scientist by education (graduated from university yesterday!) and was looking for a host like this... and when I didn't find one I decided "hey, it can't be all that hard, why not do it myself?"

Hosting multiple domains is really a simple matter; once you set the necessary permissions and ownerships it is a simple matter to have any number of user accounts each with access to different sets of websites. The trick in my opinion is to automate as much as possible in order to reduce overheads -- eBay is profitable because its cost per transaction is almost zero, and they have expanded the auction market enormously because of that. (it used to be that only items valued in the thousands of dollars would be auctioned because of the cost of running an auction; now auctions are cheap and many people use them. The same should hold for webhosting, ie once people can get a small amount of webhosting at an appropriately small price, the market should expand hugely).
