Couple of little beauties that were brought to my attention:

The rip:
www.tachionnet.com

The original:
www.ceonex.com

The rip:
www.xswebsolutions.com

The original:
www.pixelbrick.com

I let Theo of Ceonex know and gave him the headsurfer's email address plus ev1's abuse address. Hope they can work something out. Seen a few rips of sites they've done but it takes it to new level when someone rips their original sites whilst claiming to be "designers".

Open season on rippers as always. :gthumb:

I don't see why you're so surprised. Happens all the time. ::sigh:: When will they learn? Did mommy and daddy not teach them that it was wrong to steal?

The first I could almost say "heavily inspired"
but that second one is a direct rip :(

Maybe heavily inspired if they at least changed the pixel positioning of the lines that divide the sections in the page header

I am not convinced about the first one.
The second one, however...!!!!

The first one may not be a rip, but very simular.

The first one is just very heavily inspired... someone did a good job on ripping the second one though (not that its good!)

The second even has a rip off of dot5hosting.com look at the plan tables!

The first one though, if you place it overtop of ceonex.com the lines that divde the boxes are in the identical postion. Could have at least moved some of the positioning around somewhat.

Well if you going to rip, might as well rip a good design.

LOL - With all the effort they put into ripping the PB site, they probably could have made their own half decent design.

Hello,

With the second one. They have spoiled it by putting that "stuff" in the middle...... I wonder if they asked coenex if they could rip their design first...hmmmm ;)

LOL! Gotta love the second one.
Look at the "Design in Focus" part lower left.
They are currently ripping 'Credit Card Online' and selling it to 'XSpcs'!

Who in their right mind would ok the ripping of their design?

Those with a great marketing brain wouldn't mind their site being ripped. Ultimately it would lead to posts on forums like this one, awareness in the general community and as long as everyone knows who is the original creator of the design the idea that "all publicity is good publicity" comes into play :)

Cool. Eveyone has just been invited to rip fazel3's design!
Now, anyone know where it is?

If someone had ripped my design, and I'd made a big ruckus about it on here, you wouldn't be asking me where my design is - would you? ;)

Ahhh but seriously, I was just throwing an opinion around. I'm no marketing genius.
