Cheers JOb 0utlier 03-23-2003, 03:38 PM Yup... par for the course lately. HYB-Bryan 03-23-2003, 03:39 PM 59.* is dead in the water at the moment ChickenSteak 03-23-2003, 03:41 PM Yes - really laggy for me as well, I noticed it when I was trying to download something from cpanel.net at amazing speeds of .5 bytes/sec HYB-Bryan 03-23-2003, 03:45 PM appears their whole network is down.. support.burst.net and burst.net are down... cannot put in a support ticket... hopefully someone has noticed to problem already. phactor 03-23-2003, 03:46 PM no comments.. fgauthier 03-23-2003, 03:47 PM yup indeed all down now :( HYB-Bryan 03-23-2003, 03:48 PM so is it true that dedicatednow is making a come back as far as support and stability goes? Matt2001 03-23-2003, 03:49 PM i was patient with them for quite some time, but this is really really ticking me off. it never fails, it always goes down right in the middle of doing something important. beginning to look elsewhere for service....... fgauthier 03-23-2003, 03:54 PM so is it true that dedicatednow is making a come back as far as support and stability goes? Definatly! they got real support on weekend now. Server was down and they rebooted it within a few minutes today and yesterday in the morning :) digisquid 03-23-2003, 03:57 PM Yeah I've been getting pings of around 3500 ms as well. It's better than yesterday (we were down) but it certainly makes doing any type of development work impossible. I've been trying to install PHPAdsnew since Friday with no luck. Normally that's a 10 min job. Oh well. best-card 03-23-2003, 04:02 PM burstnet/nocster is a nightmare for me HYB-Bryan 03-23-2003, 04:02 PM Originally posted by fgauthier Definatly! they got real support on weekend now. Matt2001 03-23-2003, 04:06 PM not sure about speeds, but i'd have about 1 hour of totally unaccesible downtime per day XanTium 03-23-2003, 04:11 PM again again again DAMNIT! I've never yelled or screamed at nocster when my machines went down (a rarity until recently), I've always been patient, however enough is enough. This nonsense has been going on for weeks now. They either do know how, or do not care enough to once and for all fix whatever it is that is causing these down times. I don't want to hear they don't have control over this. I don't see these types of problems happening to any other datacenter on a regular basis. I personally know many people that are leaving Nocster over these issues. Their reputation (which had been good) is quickly deteriorating. It would behoove them to act quickly to shore up whatever goodwill may be left before they are forever known as brokenNET. I'm pulling for you Burst, but time is quickly running out. CatchyHost-Royi 03-23-2003, 04:14 PM Originally posted by twstdroot what has your average uptime been over at dedicatednow this month? To me this month, almost 0 downtime, except reboot. spoony 03-23-2003, 04:20 PM This is very bad. I am done with them when my prepay is up...
