I am looking for an easy to install webmail script (imap/pop3). Please suggest sample sites and experiences installing them.

SquirrelMail is not bad at all. It is cake for RaQ4's. RaQ3 may need PHP recompilations with IMAP support.

Anybody had any luck with NeoMail on a RaQ 4? It has a beautiful interface, and looks much nicer than SquirrelMail, which seems quite ugly. However, it complains that the Perl modules on my RaQ are too old...

Try adjeweb.com's AdjeMail. It's great !
Too bad it isn't freeware, I had to buy a license, but the software is great.

emumail is great, and if you use their banner ad version, it's free. Available in a pkg file for installation from the control panel on their website.

i have used neomail on a raq4i without any problems and easy to install

also had no problems with neomail. been running it for about 3 months on a raq4i with no problems.

Neomail - RaQ4i - 2 months - easy install - running on 40 domains - automatically "there" when you set up a new virtual domain - works great - free - no ads - no problems at all. 'Nuff said???

have also tried neomail, works great,
also squirrelmail and aeromail.
however, if you need a program that also ask other
pop-servers like gmx oder different servers,
you should use IMP from horde.org.
Setup needs some knowledge of unix.

Why I try to install Neomail via the pkg I get the following error:

Problem installing package component: neomail-1.25-SCPS5.noarch.rpm

Any idea why? It's a RaQ3...

did you load it via the URL ?
maybe it is better first to load the complete
file to the server ( home/packages ) and to install it from there.
if the internet connection is slow, maybe it is not loaded totally. I had this problem and always
copy the file from my home to the server.

I have install SquirrelMail (http://www.squirrelmail.org) 1.2.2 on the RaQ 3 and had very little trouble.

Went on the RaQ 4 with no trouble.

I think that you just have to make sure that you have the right modules installed on your raq.
