Its developed by a fairly popupar and large development company. Fantansy Interfaces. However, the navigation is horirble, it took me about 10 min to figure out how to get around and even find out if it was done yet.

Exactly why i hate flash based sites...

- It doesn't work with Mozilla or Eclipse
- With IE, it keeps bitching about the Flash plugin version
- On another computer, with IE and the right plugin, on a broadband connection, it takes ages to load
- I don't understand the UI

I don't understand. Flash can be so powerful and it generally is when used properly but this is horrible, and I bet they paid about 50 grand for it too.

The site is nice, I love that thing. Kinda cutey overall. :)

the graphics and animation are awesome... but you are correct, I couldn't find my way around at all. What a shame too, could have been an excellent site :(

I've said it at least 20 times here, Flash sucks. Valid XHTML and CSS please. Make your site accessibly to teh world, that includes the blind, the cell phone users, and the palm surfers.

well i just got done looking around the site see what you ahve to do is goto the side of the center window and then there will be these pull out tabs click and drag them then the menu will open up i think with a little more thinking on a few peoples parts they would have figured it out(i got it in about 2 mins)

It looks very nice, but it's hard to read when you have a screen resolution of 1600x1200. The menu on the side was easy to find, but only after it had demonstrated the function when first getting to the fully loaded site. It aslo hijacked the screen, and put a completely useless window under it.

I don't think the blind are going to care about a videogame. I thought the animations were fun but not appropriate for that kind of site -- they'd be better off on a Flash comic/art site. There was just very little content on the site.

I am not against flash. I think an HTML site can be just as hard to able to navigate, it just so happens that this site is flash and is horrible. I don't see why a company that is so reputable would do this.

It's something new and original. The company realizes that they should not always go for what everyone wants. It pushes the limits.

If by limits you mean usability, they should be handed Jakob Neilsens (sp?) handbook on what to do....

First of all, I don't know what the heck you people saw, but all I got was a black page with a tiny logo in the middle that, when clicked simply reloads the black page with a tiny logo in the middle. (XP with IE on cable with flash installed here)

It should popup a window which will eat your whole screen... I hate that :mad:

IM runinng MyIE and it wont load @ all!!!

I goto it,and all i see is the icon in the middle saying "CLICK HERE TO RE-LAUNCH DOTU.NET" Nothing else happens (hehehe) It must try to open windows,and since i hace pop ups disabloed,it doesnt work :confused: (hehehe)

Pushing the limits of crap maybe...people aren't geniuses especially those who watch cartoons, so they should be smarter and make the navigation easier.

On second thought, watching cartoons isn't that bad :) I like watching them myself, but nevertheless the website should be easier to navigate. plain and simple.

I hope he checks his refferal log to see what we all have to say.
