Has anyone actually changed anyone's mind about the war? If not, why are we even arguing? Everyone is allowed to have their own opinion, only history will tell us who's right. If you feel so strongly either way about your beliefs, go out into the world and protest or show support.

as Confusious says "War does not determine who is right, it determines who is left"

History is written by the winner and is not neccesarilly correct.

Ignore my lack od spelling, I am a tech not an english teacher!

I am making no comment on WWII in my post, all I did was posts 2 quotes to lighten up the mood, as for who is the bad guys in any war is based soley on perspective, and personally I think Hitler was the bad guy, might be because I am jewish.

Lippy,

I fully agree.. Hitler was a bad guy, and the enemy. I also beleive Saddam is this generations Hitler...

Maybe its because I live in the US, but I say we are right, we had to get Saddam at out of office, he is no romodle, no idle, he is a low life....

Either that or promote more, depending on the rules of it, and if it does happen it would need to be moderated constantly to ensure people are talking about the subject and not eachother.

I really doubt anyone has changed their minds through any of the talk in here and I doubt anyone will.

Some of the talk has been interesting anyway, and occasionally someone actually says something that at least had me seeing some things from a different perspective. Nothing has actually changed my mind, but I can at least see why some people see things the way they do anyway.

The problem is that these war threads grow from a page or two to 15 very quickly. I really don't have the time to babysit these threads, and judging by the few reports we get, and the number of problems that I see when I check them, members don't have time to report it either.

To be honest, it pains me to even read some of the opinions and statements posted as much of it is (please forgive me), simply bullfrog. Few people back up their posts with credible sources, and I just posted to one thread about hwo someone changed, "rockets hit" to "USA and UK bombed".

Basically I give up and will just be locking or throwing threads and members as needed. I'm not going to devote much time to it though.

I believe that the US are doing right in this war. Saddam has weapons of mass destruction, why does he need them? To destroy. He will use them sooner or later, may even give it up to the terrorists, he has been in power long enough, stopping him now is maybe too late as many people are protesting. Mr. Bush 10 years ago had the chance, but let him go, now it maybe to late.

At first I was against the war, simply because I didn't want to go through it.

But now, after seeing on tv and throughout other sources what he has done, and currently doing, I know that its better to deal with it now, or face possible damage in the future where the next generation may have to handle it.

So I think its needed, and the bombing is needed.. Common sense tells eople we can't just roll up to the border and say, please step out of Iraq and let us give your country total freedom.
