Do a search in this forum, as well as over at Scriptkeeper http://www.scriptkeeper.com and you might find some interesting tidbits. To say the least, it seems HPH is improving their service (at long last), but doubts still remain.

As for unlimited, there is no such thing (since hosts must pay for bandwidth), so avoid any host which says unlimited bandwidth. Or at the very least, check their TOS or AUPs for their definition of 'unlimited' (usually a certain amount of gigabytes).

I used them (for about 9 mths) until recently for my inwks.com domain, and they were good for starting up (cheap), but I wouldn't use them for anything needing serious systems like SQL Server (its a confidence thing). I use NetWhistle to monitor my sites, and they restart system regularly.

If you are looking for an alternative, I use Interland for all my domains now. People like to have a pop at them at a regular basis, and whilst I agree that they are prone to making mistakes like any other host, I've been happy with them for 2 years now. Another alternative, who I have never used, but have excellent reviews are crystaltech. Both have SQL plans at the same price as HPH.

(to Vish and not a slam on BC...)
Unlimited does not equal Limited. Period.
Limited, however is what every hosting company has when it comes to bandwidth. They cannot provide something they don't have, so don't let them lie to you.

It really does not matter what they say in the TOS or AUP if they lie about their bandwidth to you being unlimited somewhere else on their site.

Unlimited <> Limited.
(Read "Unlimited not equal to Limited")

Well, Initially I had a Unix Plan with them. Then they just moved me to a NT Server because they decided not to offer Unix anymore... Then they raised some prices... then put only 3 POP accounts for small plans, then back to unlimitted POP, then cut out the custom DNS, the put them back but for a monthly fee, then modified the reseller plan (from 50% for the seccond account to 25% for the seccond account) And recetly they stop supporting ASP with the small plan, and set no ODBC for the 2 smaller ones.
Unless they may still have some good prices, they don't know what to offer. I got tired and cancelled. I told them: you should not be named HalfPriceHosting.com you should be called AsMuchAsWeWantPriceHosting.com You can't seriously host with them if you don't know what will happen tomorrow.
Don't mention if you plan to resell space.
And also their connection speed wasn't very good.
That's my experience with them (the smile says it all)

Thanks all you guys for giving so much of information.

First time when I visited halfpricehosting.com it was unlimited bandwidth. Then it become limited. They told why should we charge setup fee. But after 2 weeks it was again changed. It was unlimited bandwidth again but with setup fee. When I saw I was really shocked.

No I have decided hosting at Atlantawebhost.com.

Comments & suggestions are welcome.

Thanks.
