You May Remember I posted this a few days ago :

Well Guess What, IT'S DOWN AGAIN, even though it's on a completely new server, same old problems, even the routing has died now, I haven't even had a HINT of compensation yet despite the service was down for 24 hours, and has suffered with intermittent routing problems these last few months.

What I'm suspicious is that of the problem that we had, pushed the datacentre move back even more, something which Craig eemed to stall on for weeks....

I can't believe this is happening to be honest, after all the problems we have had yesterday, and the day before,I thought that at last we are going to see some light at the end of the tunnel, as the routing problem seemed to have gone away, now it's back, and with the datacentre move being put even further back now due to yesterdays failures, it's just going to make me consider leaving ZeonHost more and more.

Apollo is also down again now, which is unrelated to the above problem, Just I'm a bit upset to have 24 hours of downtime, and for it to be back up for 18 hours, and for it to go down yet again after that.

They Never learn do they? This Is what I got from support :

We found a hacker in the system attempting to install a backdoor. We are checking to make sure that he has not loaded anything else before we restore services.

So first they have a server die because of an obvious security problem, now they have another security problem on a totally rebuilt server.....

How pathetic, Avoid ZeonHost like the plague.

I see Justin and I think differently. I'm more surprised when the future is unlike the past. If things go wrong several times in the past, I don't expect them to work properly in the future.

Well I got this from the host :

Justin,

I do understand your frustration. We had a hacker get into the system again and load a bunch of scripts. We are cleaning them out now.

I had been planning to change the servers to the new location tonight, I was going to post a note for everyone on Wed, but with the problem we are having, I will not be able to move the servers till Tuesday.

I don't know if these are just people of opportunity or if the rash of recent attacks against our systems are directed against certain sites, or not, but never had this problem till I purchased ZeonHost. And I've never had an attack Web-Zonic and any of it's clients.

We are continuing to work constantly to restore services

Once a hacker gets in, the only way to be sure is to reinstall the system again. As there's no way to be sure otherwise if the system is "clean". Ask to move to one of the Webzonic servers then :)

They Reinstalled the system again yesterday due to this problem, which is why we had 24 hours downtime, now they have exactly the same problem again, which in my opinion is unacceptable.

WebZonic prices are about 10x what I'm paying, just have a look at their site and the zeonhost site, and you'll see a massive difference.

I am sure they can move you to a comparable server on their network. The thing is, while it is not possible to protect 100% against hackers, if they take some precautions, they should be able to take care of the problem, except against the most advanced hackers.

Yeah, but it's not just one of the ZeonHost Servers, it's most of them this has happened to.

It's probably a misconfiguration or a problem with the mail servers. In any case, I usually don't say this. But perhaps you should vote with your doallrs with someone who may not give you such issues or problems.
