I registered my domain name with godaddy.com and at first it was registered with tacidblue.com. I canceled my account with them and the owner of tacidblue told me that he owns my domain name and he can't release this. And he won't. I contacted my current host your-site.comb by phone and they said that all my nameservers were set up right and everything. My website is www.sliverstarlights.com and it doesn't show up as my domain. I have tried just about everything I can do. I need help!:(

I copied and pasted sliverstarlights.com - That name is available for registration. If you want it, you need to grab it now.

If that is you, you should be fine.

It takes 72 hours for nameservers and changes to propagate. It looks to me like you just haven't given it enough time.

I dont know what would people do to get rid of this guy.

I think someone has to get together and file a joint law suit against Shang, to get their domain names back, have you tried emailing godaddy.com, see what they say, maybe we all should bombard godaddy with emails until they will take care of this. I still have the email when I regsitered my domain, stating that your domain was registered that i recieved from tacidhost.

Yeah thats my domain and I can't find the email address where I need I can contact them. Its been 48 hours and the nameservers are not updating. Do you think I should switch registars? I usually use dotster to register my domain names but I went w/ godaddy for the price. Could somebody try to help me find an email address where I can contact them at for support?

Did you got your domain from Tacidblue.com, How did you got the register information changed from under Shang's name to you, if you did not get it change, you are in the same boat as me, I suggest sending a email to www.godaddy.com check out their website out.

I don't...It might be me, but when I type www.godaddy.com in my browser, it doesn't show up.

I didn't register my domain with tacidblue.com. You might want to email tacidblue.com and ask who he uses to registar your domain name. Could somebody tell me the email address @ godaddy.com for support?

try to transfer your domain name w/ dotster.com they are good. Don't worry about it, this whole thing is annoying me because I didnt' register with tacidblue but now my domain names are not updating.

my domain is registered under shangs name and he wont give me the password, so i am screwed, and i cant do anything, ahh well, I could go to the court but that will take to much time, maybe i should. but then again where are we going to find mr. shang :(

I think internic.net is no longer updating, try betterwhois.com or allwhois.com for whois next time.

You have a typo here. SLIVER and SILVER are not the same.

I am pretty sure this is correct because
sweethorizons.com, sparkledreams.com and itsalladream.net is registered to S Biehl. Too close to be coincidence.

Now again, it has been LESS than a week since the name was registered and you have already made changes. It takes a few days for the changes to show up.

Maybe that doesn't mean anything?

Within the coming year I expect to transfer my domains from DomainDirect and Dotster to Stargate simply because of the lower price. I hesitate especially to leave Dotster. Is Dotster a better registrar than Stargate, I wonder? It's just a $5 difference.

I think dotster is really good because I use them personally and I keep coming back to register my domain names with them. I highly recommend them and I never heard of the other company. Sometiems paying more means that you will get better service. Check around in chatrooms. If you have america online then you can go to the chatrooms in speical interest then go to internet talk, chat about the web, and tech chat. Also yahoo has a webpage designing chat that might help. Just talk to people do your research about the other comapany.
