Because of nothing else to do me and my server admin stayed in the Rachshack support chat room after I had some problems solved with one of their technicans.
A new potential customer enters and asks whether there is 150 GB included with their dedicated servers and whether you get full root access. The reply he got was:
"All technicans are currently busy with other customers but I think one will be ready soon".
I think that shows the knowledge of the "sales" people in the chat :)
It ended up with I answered all his questions...

You now.. this is kind of sad. If there are no support people to answer the questions of a new customer what would you expect of the support when a current customer comes? I've found no matter how good you are at servers when beginning with a hosting company you always need a few calls to support to ask questions or have little issues solved.

Unfortunately, this is the way most of my sessions have gone with them. You login to tech support, and nothing but salespeople are there. YOu login to sales chat, and there are no salespeople.

yes and then when they do answer you it makes no sense or is wrong
youcan tell if they feel a bit bothered they just bail on ya and leave ya hanging.

3. The IP assigned to his domain is 216.12.209.25 not 216.40.195.66. As far as everything else, his machine is up, and the DNS is pointing. 6/7/01 10:21:36 AM the name is registered, but we have it misspelled here. it's just 'happyfishdesign.com'. closing escalation
So basically a highly skilled trained tech support person
put in a wrong domain name and dns number
the reply was from one of the other techs there

this ticket was nothing to dowith me by the way
when it says be mroe careful in the future it was directed back at one of there own people as I never opened that ticket.
