Just curious guys,

Is file manager really an important part of control panel ? Because if they have telnet/ssh access to the box , they should be able to do just about anything to their files ... or they can use their ftp client to do all that .. right ?

I'm just gathering information here .. hehe.. I need to know whether to add file manager on the control panel I'm working on or not.

A file manager is easier to use for newbies, because you see what you can do?
The most of the people don't know unix and it's commands so they won't use telnet/ssh.

Yes, add a file manager because I need one for my control panel and I hope you are a nicce guy and give it to me. I didn't find a good one like FileMan from Gossamer but open source with basic layout.

... yeah, I'd leave it, but I would probably also dissable SSH as it's usually not necessary to let people browse around your server to the extent that's offered by SSH/Telnet.
