I have been in a dispute over my domain names with weblaunching.net ( an opensrs reseller ) for quite some time. They allowed my domain to slip into on-hold status due to their own mistakes. Anyway, up until today, a whois lookup gave no info at all on my domains. Today, one of them has magically restored my registrant info, except it now shows Enom.com as my registrar. Even more weird, they put my personal info on the registration... and it wasn't the same info that was originally on my domain name. It's almost as if they looked up my current info somehow and registered my name under them in a sneaky attempt to make me pay their registration fees to be able to reclaim my domain and transfer it to my choice of registrars.
Anybody know what this is all about? Is this common?
