Anyone heard of them? (I saw a post here for them.)

Anyone use them?

They are going to start merchant services in April.

They are open to international clients.

According to their ad they are world wide. (But i've never heard of them, except for the one ad on WHT)

This is from the website. And this should start in April.

Merietta GA.

They have been around for three years. Seems like a good sign, but i'm looking for feedback.

--Well found this on a search. So far looks good.

This one puts them up there with western union and paypal.

This is the only bad thing i've found so far. But it really didn't tell me how the service was. It's more a problem with the affiliate program.

There c/s did take a couple of days to respond to my inquiry, but i'm still not put off from the service. This thread did not really clearify things.

Well, their fees to send money to the US and Canada are 3%. Not bad. However, their fees to receive money internationally could be up to 200%. But say you offer a plan for $10, they take 20% of that for international clients. If you sell a plan for $5 that take $2 of it.

Still not clear though whether they will make people sign up to send payments like paypal does.

I was on the website and they do make you sign up to send payments. Then if your recipient is in canada or the us they get an atm card to with draw the funds.

I am thinking of sending funds to test out the system.

The google search shows that they are not fly by night. Three years is pretty good, and they really do seem to be world wide.

They have some of the best rates also. I just want to talk to someone who's actually used it though.

Although i did read a few google threads of people who have.

I want to know how the merchant service is going to work. That's my main interest.

A merchant service no monthly, no set up. Open to international clients. And from what i'm reading they seem to be really well established. (Strange that there is not more on them at WHT, they are an American company.)

But then they have only been like western union for sending and recieving the merchant thing is only going to be new for April.

But i'm still not sure if this will also be true for the merchant account.

Well, I tried sending money, and I must say that their interface is horrible. Their web applications seems badly designed and I often find myself lost.

Their customer service never replied my e-mails (6 days to date), and I am left to fend for myself in their 'web jungle'.

However I have no choice as I am not in a paypal country...

Bashar

you can use paystorm or stormpay they accept intenational customers

(please note that this post is not to say that ikobo ain't good in they're buisness despising the horrible page :p)

That site design and navitation is horrible :(

I couldn't find the info I needed to figure out how does it work for my country, within that huge mess and BADLY translated website (take couple of portuguese lessons and translate it to Standard Portuguese (not brasilian) and go there laugh :))

My problem is that... I live in Portugal and no one cares about us regarding to online payment reception

Here's some portfolio:

1) Paypal -> no widthraw availeble in Portugal

2) Momeybookers -> Seems fine but I don't think anyone in they're perfect mental abilities would send a scan of frond and back of the credit card just to send a payment... I think it should be ileagal to ask such thing if it's not already.

3) International bank transfer... Once a mate in UK was gonna send me 150pounds and I called my bank to ask fees applyed to this issue... The reply was amusing... $34 (have in mind that 150€ is arround $220) plus a 5% comition applyed over the total value without the transaction tax taken out so 5% of $220 which gives the total amount of $45 taxes.
No onder they make so many promotions to insentivate the International transfers...

4) Western Union -> I can't say it doesn't works fine and I understand they have higher fees than the avrage services since it's not online payment

:bawling: Damn it's hard to set up a buisness without paying like 400£ or so to setup merchant accounts in places like worldpay.com

Best regards to everyone,
Happy buisness :)

you can use paystorm or stormpay they accept intenational customers
Pay storm charges 15%, cor credit cards.

What I hate about them is that they seem all out to advertise their bad customer service. For the slightest reason, they will ask you to contact their Customer Service, which, according to my past experrience, takes 7 days and above to give you a reply that you don't want. Then you mail them again, and while waiting, you might be just like me-- Opt for cheque instead...
