are there actually any free hosting out there for people that already have domains?

Quite a few now. Check out http://www.freewebspace.net and search for domain-enabled hosts.

Ok... Nearly all the domain hosters you find will have ads on, so you can't avoid them ;)

That said, the best ones are :
http://www.worldzone.net http://www.netcabins.com http://www.virtualave.net http://www.surecity.com

ahhh! this is one of them occasions when i wished i hadnt closed fthosting down they where adless :(.

I have been fairly good thanks, Good to see i was missed lol. I've been really snowed under with my new job at BradMET redesigning the " On Location in BRADFORD CITY of FILM" website. I'm slowly learning to juggle the internet side of my life with World. Trying to find somewhere to dump me cobalt servers before the autumn when i hope to open back up with 2 full time staff this time :-).

I mean test a account and you can delete it yourself, its all automated :)

I ve been testing and it's like 90% complete ... Sure it has little bugs but so far its doing great and smooth :)

Just want to let you know that I developed my own free homepage hosting and yes its just like other providers but you get better features as well. Though you would like to know, in few weeks I am adding other plug allows you to use a domain name :)

Hello Joesph, Please do not take this the wrong way but if i was you id invest some money into your freewebspace provding as when everything is done for you you get bored with it and as you make no money from it its pointless and you give up giving support etc etc.

These are the free services and I have my banner ad on the top by Flycast and AdFlight so it helps pays for the service and keep it free so it won't bother me anyway.

Yes and no problem, that is why I say you should visit the site first to see it around and you will understand more better that way instead throwing issues here :)
