the two problems i have with them is 1) MPD lied about not being brian baldwin 2) they offer a discount to TacidHost customers as long as they don't get a refund from TacidHost..........IMO, that's stealing money.

Your right it was there before, thats because I was originally working on a deal for Shangs customers to be able to upgrade and get unix service. and I wasnt trying to steal any money from him. If I had offered the service, and let everyone get a refund then it would be like stealing money, this was before I was aware of soem of the illegal things going on.

Once I was aware of the illegal things the request was removed. and customers have requested refunds and such since

is 9kd.net a good host?

iserver.net (verio) virtual server "C" 800mb:

price -> getting toooo expensive for me
speed -> great for germany, italy, others... no idea
uptime -> excellent (noc in vienna)
support -> no idea! got it through a reseller
customer -> since 2 years

Can someone please tell me why CommuniTech is bad? I've had excellent experience with them. And personally, I think it's the best reseller program on the web. Anyone know someone better?

I tried ***** for a little bit too. They were good from my point of view. Good uptimes, good speeds and good tech support.

It is hard to label hosts good or bad so easily, other than hosts that are just outright scams. One person will hate the host for various reasons, one will like them. Without knowing the full details about the site and the expectations of the person signing up for hosting, it is hard to guage whether a review (either good or bad) is of any value.

Including time you were with them (from-to), your experiences with support, your opinion about their prices, network performance, general comments, etc., would be more helpful than just listing them under a heading of 'good/bad'.

Anything that comes close to or looks like shangs website is a scam. :D

The ones I listed as 'good' (above), have (and had) excellent everthing to me.

The bad...

Burlee.com's servers we're slow and they had problems keeping our site online for 24 hours in one day.

CWIHosting had good servers (I've seen better) but their support sucked. They never responded. It took a "threatening letter" in order to get their Billing department to reply. Which, I finally got my refund.

That's very true, Chicken. You need to give us the whole story, not just "xyzhost.com sucks". It's very possible to have bad experiences with good service providers. It's not possible to do business with people without pissing some of them off at one time or another.
