Alright, trying to setup a masterswitch I got off of ebay. I bought one earlier and can't find the discs that came with it, and the switch itself is at a DC about 200 miles away. I'm trying to find the mac address of it. So as stated in the manual I look at the bottom. All I see really is a white little tag that says the model number and "WA0051008873". This surely can't be a mac address? Any help would be greatly appreciated (just look on the bottom of yours and see if it tells you the address).

yep, thats not a mac address. if you ping it, you will know its mac address. but im assuming you need the mac address to set it up so you can ping it, which you cant do until you have the mac address...

Crap. I can't find it. I have no docs for it either. So what can I do just config it via serial?

Is there any utility I could use to search the network and find all connected devices btw?
