Hello all. I've been lurking on this board for awhile, but this is my first post. Some friends and I are looking into getting a dedicated server for hosting a few of our websites, some with some decent amounts of traffic.

I've read up on some hosting companies, and generally know which ones are good. I'd like to see if I can get a good deal. We'll probably be purchasing within a week.

Requirements:

- UNIX/Linux based .. no Windows servers please.
- Pentium III-based server
- 256 megs RAM
- 10 gigs HD space
- Bandwidth: 75gig/month or more (we'll most likely top that after a few months, so the lower the $/gig prices the better).
- some sort of admin control panel (we don't have much experience with any of the popular ones)
- 1-800 # would be an added bonus

"Great" technical support probably won't be required, as we've got a few Unix guru friends to do the admin stuff. However, there should be 24x7 emergency support (for reboots, upgrades, and such).

Pricing:

We're looking for something in the range of $200/month USD. We're in Canada, so the conversion rates will hurt us.

Setup fee: Prefer $0, but we can't always get what we want :) Less then $200 would be best, but willing to negotiate.

Are my expectations too high? We're willing to negotiate :)

Please email any offers.
