I am looking to find a host for a site I want to develop. I am needing a site that will allow me to sell downloadable infoproducts and other products. Nothing is adult oriented. I am hoping not to spend more than $15-20 a month. I have found a few places but not sure. Anyone know anything about Hostway.com? Some help and recommendations would be nice.
Needs: POP e-mail, responders, FrontPage ext., etc

Hi I'd like to recommend unixfusion.com and superior-host.com
I've been with www.unixfusion.com (http://www.unixfusion.com) a short while and they seem "so far" to be v.very good... I think i saw somewere about them hiring new support staff too.
A friend is hosted with superior-host.com and says they are great with exellent support... but i have no personal information on them...

Is the site popular or are you planning on getting a large flow of people downloading soon? A few MB can turn into a few GB in bandwidth very quickly depending on how many people visit the site and download.

You should try Atjeu Publishing at http://www.atjeu.com - they are reasonable and have great service - B
I'm not entirely sure about Hostway, so do a search in the forum at http://www.scriptkeeper.com (click on the 'forums' link down the bottom, then go to 'Web Hosts & ISPs' and do a search in that forum).
How much bandwidth are you looking at using per month? Is it frequently visited, are the downloadable files big, etc.?

As far as bandwidth...unsure. Not much with my luck. The file sizes are only a few mb at the most.

Maybe a ProWeb account from JTAN (www.jtan.com)? The price is $22.99 a month ... a little over what you want to spend, but the extra $2.99 a month is worth it.
