I need help in following 2 matters related to SSL Certificate :

1. Installation of SSL Certificate

What I did to install a SSL Certificate is as follows. (I am running Linux 7.3 with WHM/Cpanel 6)

From WHM -> SSL/TLS menu
- I goes to "Purchase & Install a SSL Certificate " and I purchase a free trial certificate from there. I got keys & crt for SSL certificate.
- Then I goes to "Install a SSL Certificate and Setup the Domain " here I put the key & crt information in given textbox.
Domain name : secure.mydomainame.com
IP address : 127.127.127.127 (I used the a free IP, I mean the IP was spare at that time & mydomainame.com has not allocated any IP address before that.) The sub-domain, secure.mydomainname.com has also not created at that time but I created it after successful installation of SSL certificate.
- The certificate installed successfully but a problem is arised that I am unable to access https://secure.mydomainame.com but able to access http://secure.mydomainame.com & https://127.127.127.127 is showsing all my web site contents & files.
Is there something wrong with the way, I used to install the certificate? How do I correct it?

2. The SSL certificate I purchased will expire within a month. How do I renew the same certificate before it expire?

The way I always do it is...

1. Create secure.domain.com as a full account in WHM
2. Assign it a dedicated IP address
3. Install SSL cert

This can be before or after you generated the signing request and purchased the cert.

Note: I never used the purchase & install SSL cert option though.

Then how do you purchase your SSL certificate & from where?

i purchase my certificates through my comodo.net reseller account... i can get ssl certificates for 35 dollars.

35 dollars? its good price man. can u please help me to purchase ssl certificate at this price?
