As nochex reported someone was sending out an email with the subject "Your account has been limited" it then goes on to asking for your card details via an email form.


You should never enter your card details, always login directly from the nochex site

Anyway, who ever is trying to get the card details got a bit smarter. I got this email today

You may have received a spoof email claiming to be from NOCHEX entitled "Your Account is Limited". You should be especially cautious of emails that direct you to any other web site than NOCHEX. In order to continue using your NOCHEX account, you must confirm your email address by logging in to your NOCHEX account using the form below.

All fields are required.


Surprise Surprise, it asks tyou for your card details + password via a email form.

Yep.. I had an email like that the other day...

I really fear for those who are not *that* technically minded as you get some that can be very convincing..

Only reason I didn't enter my details is because

1. I like to read there site from time to time (when i'm bored :D) and it said some where "never enter your details via an email form".

2. I used mail2web and it shows the source by default
