Ok, I signed up with Site5 last week and my domain name is still not resolving correctly on their DNS machines. My domain is calstudents.com. What's going on? The last time I ever had to change DNS I only had to wait a couple of days at most before the change was complete. Anyone here from Site5 that can help? I've submitted a trouble ticket already and haven't heard back yet.

Sure its not you Domain Registrar's fault? Sometimes it may take up to 72 hours..... And how long have you waited for a reply for the support ticket?

NSI updated the DNS info on Saturday so I don't think it's NSI's fault. The trouble ticket was submitted early yesterday.

Damage,
I am able to resolve the web site correctly using the web address calstudents.com, which does appear to be pointed at Site5's nameservers. I can not say for sure whether the domain is pointing at your old host's server or Site5's server because I do not know your IP. However, you seemed to be describing that the domain was not resolving AT ALL for you- if this is still the case, it probably means that your ISP has not updated its zone files just yet. Different ISPs update their zone files at different times, and as such it may take a couple of days for DNS changes to propagate worldwide.

Good luck.
