Dont know if many people use Paintshop Pro, but the Beta of version 8 is now available for public download & testing here - http://www.jasc.com/pbeta/psp/

About time :). I hate using Photoshop because they make the commands more complicated than they really should but that's just my opinon I guess. Can't wait to try this baby out :D.

If you don't use paint shop pro, what do you use? If you ask me, I think Paint Shop Pro is the best.. that is unless you can come up with something better :P

Photoshop is considered to be the best (I hate it personally and am a big fan of PSP).

Reasons:
Easier to use
Less of a resource user (I usually have a million things going on at once on my computer)
Great tuturials which are up to date usually
Great PSP communities
Has almost the same features of Photoshop

Photoshop has better picture enhancing features and is definetly a more powerful tool. It's all a matter of opinoin though ;).

I've been using PSP for years now and love it, but have to say that the Beta 8 *really* heavily 'borrowed' from PS 7. The new 'toolband' looks exactly the same as PS...as well as many other bits.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Adobe gets upset.

Yeah most people consider Photoshop as the best but I like the vector controls in PSP.

I've used PSP for years. Good price. Nice features. I have Photoshop 6.0 but hardly use it. High learning curve. I get to irritated and close it out.

I'm a huge fan of PSP, and am glad to see they've improved the user interface.

I've used PS and PSP but my personal preference is Macromedia Fireworks.

havent seen the new version as yet tho. Look forward to it.

PSP is my saviour for stuff, its so much cheaper than photoshop too.
