Hi,
I saw a lot of postings about directoris.com. but never found anyone hosted by it. So, how is it? Would someone give out an url for us to test speed?

Just got an account set up before the cutoff, needed to rehome a domain name cheaply for now, long story (and not a good one).
What info you need? I'm still waiting for name servers to update domain I'm transferring which should be done in next couple of days.
So far they are good, have a couple of questions I just sent to tech support about account stuff.
Ftp seems quick, cpanel is good enough, much like cpanel3 in its functionality.
Pity theres no smtp on the account.

Feel free to download a 1MB picture from my website hosted with them here (http://www.phark.com/test.htm) :D
They have been up and down, up and down alot. Actually I wouldnt know when their server is down cos I havent really made use of my account with them, but they keep sending me notifications/explanations for their downtimes :D
For a $14 host, they seem pretty serious :)

Yeah, they do seem ok.
I took the account just to give me some control of a domain again that was on a really dodgy host in uk www.itslondon.com who are nothing short of crooks.
There is still some traffic so I thought I'd put it somewhere where I could work on the site again.

I was unlucky enough to use itslondon.com too :-(

What was your experience with them?
I lost the use of half the duration of 1 hosting package and all of another.
They still owe me close to £100 by my calculation.

They owe me a lot too.
I know a lot of other unhappy customers...
It seems that installing SQL server crashed their system, leading to the long periods of downtime.
They never answered the phone, or replied to my emails - I got a few announcements every couple of months but that was it.
My contract has now expired, yet they continue to host my domain but I have no ftp access to it, but the site is still up...
I'll search for some of the emails they sent me...

I had the same problems, made me really angry.
They were great for a couple of months and then went bad.
The worst thing was I had 2 domains they registered for me and it took me months and a great deal of greif to get control of them back because itslondon listed themselves as admin contacts and pretended to be invisible to email.
It took a threat by me to lodge an official complaint with companies house to get a response. Wish I'd just done that anyway.
We should get evryone together and go after them.

They still have a domain of mine - they can keep it, its only registered for a couple more months and I don't need it.
One of my friends had to get nominet to transfer it away though....
