Does anyone know about this company named Cybercon? (http://www.cybercon.com)

The urgency is that we have already cancelled our current web hosting contract with rackspace (too expensive) and has 2 weeks to find a new host.

Our sites gets 50,000 visitors a day (web search engine and directory service) and is expected to reach more than 1 million visitors a month in the next quarter. So scalability is extremely important.

I know that they host some large sites like colonize.com and twistedhumor.com, but their bandwidth pricing leaves someting to be desired once you go over 320 gigs a month ($800 per 320 gig increment so if you get 328 gigs a month, you get to pay $800 for the extra 8 gigs).

I would really like to know how is their support. Is it as good as rackspace? How about their connectivity?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

They were one of my choice for colo.

If you don't know how to manage your server, you definitely should go with them.

They provide free support, so you can email them all you want and won't be charged. At least you can learn a lot from them while colo with them. Take advance of their free support. :D (hey, you are paying them monthly)

They also have these how-to:

* How to manage web servers
* How to manage mail servers
* How to manage ftp servers

To bad I am not their client, so I don't have access to these how-to.

Anyway, I have good impression toward them.
( I haven't been with them, so don't take my word for it.)

My server with them has been very fast, and reliable. I only used support a few times, but they replied within an hour.

They are actually down the street from us (2 blocks). They are a great company! I took a tour of their new datacenter when it opened last year and it is first class.

They are great competitor of ours :)

If you drop the price per bandwidth to $2 per gig, I might start providing dedicated server hosting. Each of my clients will have their own dedicated server, rather than hundreds of them on 1 server. :D
