Hello,

I just added ns1.domain.com and ns2.domain.com with ip and ip2 respectively.

Now I want to add a record and ptr record for both of them..
but I cant see them listed in the Site Management Section nor they are in the a record page's drop down menu nor on the ptr record one.

can anyone guess what is the problem and what is the solution for it..

and yes..
it can be viewed at ip1 and ip2 ??
Please help.

Thanks,

Just go to "Control Panel" then click on "DNS Server - Parameters".

Now all you have to do is click the drop down box on the right ("add"), then select the "A record" and then enter all your info.
Do the same for the "ptr"

I'm sorry!
I got you totally wrong there...

The only advise I can give you is to search the cobalt-users archive as this topic might already have come up once...

The archive is located at: http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/cobalt-users/

Search for something like: "disappearing sites"

Maybe someone else can provide you with a more practical solution.

I'm sorry again
