Well, you didn't say what site you're talking about, but I just checked out the html side of webdefinity.com and it's all missing graphics and broken links. Couldn't have ordered a hosting plan if I wanted to. So maybe that's an obstacle.

HI CG, I hope it`s ok that I rap it up here rather than in ICQ.
OK here`s some specific problems:
-Logo Design and Computer Assembly is showing index page url with # on the back of it.
-None of the graphics in the "hosting" directory is showing.
-page links in subpages like "order", "hosting" and "contacts" hasn`t been set (just a .(dot))
-and some pages are 404

But I what I want to say is that credit card processing is a must, you can`t do this business with paypal. Try Instabill(works for me), revecom or ibill.

If you mean lots of hits from other sources than WHT that is great :agree:, but from here(WHT) you can expect a conversion rate of about 0,1% :(

Computerguy: also on the flash part of webdefinity, if that's what you're talking about. From the main page, the various subpages load so slowly that I actually thought that the links in the flash side weren't working either at first. I was about to give up and move on when one of them did come up. If I were a potential customer you would have gotten a hit, but I might have moved on before noticing that the site actually was live.

Again, sorry if that's not the site you're asking about, but your post was very vague.

the flash part, I need a smaller file thanks for the ideas, although it is a rather small flash site less than 100 k

To be honest ComputerGuy, I think you should drop the flash page, even though it looks really good an cool sounds. But that is part of my point, it seems more like an entertainment site than a business site. Most people have flash and they will click on it, but maybe leave your site just because it didn`t seem like a business site.
Leave your flash creativity for some more appropriate time and fix the html section which looks very well :)

Haakon, i think I am in agreement, because it causes to much confusion, it will be a great way to show a demo of it tho...

Totally, agreed. I didn't realize it was a hosting site until I clicked on hosting. It's.. just too colorful.
