Which is better for starting a complete webhosting business... Not reselling?

Nac.net offers the same services as Alabanza .....where on their site do they offer these services ?

Nac.net doesn't offer them directly to consumers, i believe you need to go through site5 or PWebTech both of these companies are in the nac.net server room. I have a dedicated machine in the nac.net server room and the speed is very impressive. if you go to http://www.nac.net/nettech.asp

they have a whole bunch of stuff on the server room there.

So then what's my first step to getting started?

When you e-mail Site5, ask about BillAdmin. That will allow you to have automated billing similar to Alabanza's billing system.
