I ask it because the website www.psionic.com is gone, does anybody know where to or does anybody know a similiar program('s) what works better?

Cisco bought Psionic, and has closed the source.

I would imagine that there is an open-source version under development, but I'm not sure what the project name is, etc.

Check www.securityfocus.org for info - if anyone's got info it will be them.
