Guys,

I have a friend who is/was hosting at Network5, their site was www.network5.net.

He is very depressed, his 4 Cobalts are all down and he has older backups for 3 of them and he is been calling those guys and nobody answer, their site is also down, I am assuming they have a lot of people affected, as they were selling very cheap.

He is about to basically take a big lost here. Does anybody know of some one having the same problems there, or does anyone know of someone there.?

Thanks,

Romero

Never heard of them. But if their main site is down, that's most certainly not a good sign.

The old adage of you get what you pay for strikes again.

Sad enough, looks like you should have already a few new hosters in mind.

How can you say "nevery heard of them" and then "The old adage of you get what you pay for strikes again"??? I believe in "you get what you pay for", too, but your sentence implies they are cheap and not good.

The guy's site has been down for days, as well as the hosts site. No one answers the phone at the host. As much as I hate making broad statements, I think any host that is down for days and doesn't even answer the phone during that downtime can be labeled "cheap and not good".

I believe the user "drewnick" may be able to help you out, or you can contact him directly at drew@valuetech.com - he used to have a full rack with them I believe.

Thanks to all of you..

I will contact the guy at valuetech. Yeah buying cheap from unknown companies has to be dangerous.
