Okay,this is a please from me,and probably many other members of this forum.
STOP WITH THE UNLIMITED.
Most of the people here are smarter than you think,and know there is no such think as unlimited anything.When I go to a host and see it says unlimited,I am automatically suspicious(sp).When you say unlimited your saying I can put 10 terrabytes of space amd run 10 terrabytes of transfer a DAY.
So I'm begging you all to please give us REAL numbers.

here here!! Its just a marketing trick. Their ain't no such think as an unlimited hardrive!!


BTW, if any of you know where to get an unlimited hardrive, my computer IS kinda full.....plz email me ASAP!!!!! :D :D

I think what most people mean is unlimited use of what they have available, not that they have unlimited supplies though.

e.g. they have a raq3 connected to a 512k line. They could offer you unlimited transfer on this, maybe you are trying against 200 other sites, but they can say unlimited, coz the most you can do is bout 160GB.

I suupose you can look at it from both sides, some people might want this as these kind of hosts are usually wuite cheap, and they don`t need to worry bout the transfer then, or some people actually expect their UBB6 to run amazingly fast with 200,000 page views/day for their $9.95/year Unlimited everythin acc. Jus depends on what you are looking for.

As for the Terabyte stuff, I don`t know any web designer who could generate a terabyte of content, or generate good enough content to get that amount of traffic. except porn.LOL

ezBoard can do it,open up a remotely hosted CGI script...I could do it,wanna see,someone just offer me the space.
