If anyone here has been to ilovebacon.com in the past they'd probably have realised it's a very popular site.

It's a site where people send in funny pictures etc, a good laugh all round...

Until the end of May they were running a "nudity" section but they're relocating it to a new site. The kind of nudity one would find to be humourous with photo snaps of people standing nude next to signs etc.

Here's a quick run down on what the owner wants:

1. I don't want to pay any money to have it hosted.
2. It would use a lot of bandwidth, by a lot I mean over 1,000 gigs per month.
3. I wouldn't want to maintain a server, I'll only do it if you consider the server to be your problem.
4. You'd get an ad on every page (the site would probably average around 750,000 page views per day), but I'd get any revenue from the top banner slot.

A lot of money to spend, but also a lot of exposure for one's hosting company.

For me this falls into the never hurt to ask category, but you know, it would not surprise me if someone picked up this site and hosted it. People do things that I would not find a business case for every day.

The Internet community is definately full of interesting people. :rolleyes:

I could seriously offer him as much bandwidth/servers as he wants ...but i would want the top advertising spot as well as a few other smaller ad spots. If it is not a joke, drop me a note at marc@crawlix.com and send me more information :)

Yep, i remembered that its not your site the other day after i shut down the PC ...but it was too late and i had to be in Vancouver at afternoon :D Its probably not too interesting for webhosts ...since he's probably going to have adult content.
