I am in need of hosting for my domain, but I need a plan that offers 3rd-level sub-domains (for example user.mydomain.com, /not/ mydomain.com/user), and I need restricted ftp accounts for the sub-domains. There is a total of 7 sub-domains, and space is not a major concern.. 200mb would be A-OK! However it's hard to find a host that offers 3rd-level domains with restricted FTP access for a reasonable price. I am currently paying $60/month and I'm only getting 70mb of space..!! Suggestions??

Wuddya mean "unresricted FTP access" ? and though you're only getting 70MB, space isn't usually the biggest thing a host will base price on. (just one example, bandwidth?).

what kind of bandwidth do you require? Most hosts should be able to offer subdomains since it's not that hard to set up. The same goes for restricted ftp access. I have done all the above for my clients, it just takes a little configuration.

I don't know of any hosts off hand who offer this though.

You might want to take a look at our plans. although that we do not offer up to 7 sub domains at first, you can select a plan (the silver plan for example) and add 5 extra sub domains paying $5/month extra.
