Riftor,

Why wait for Communitech to give you the ax? You see what they are doing... Why wouldn't you just move your site now and not have to worry about them?

BTW, the current batch of customers who sites are being suspended are lucky for-the-fact that in the past, Communitech just suspended the accounts without any warning.

My site is currently using Communitech as a host and I'll be moving an active Ezboard to a UBB on the site and I'm worried that my site along with the others recently will be suspended by Communitech and eventually removed. I fould a hosting site called Site5.com and was wondering if it would be a reliable substitute if Communitech gives out on me.

Hi!
You should use the search function right here in this forum (up by the preferences, profile link) just type company name in and see what results turn up.

Well the only reason why I'm not just leaving is because I already paid for a whole year in advance...so...

another thing, I've been reading about Site5 and found that about 2 months ago they had a lot of downtime. Have they fixed their servers yet?

Hi, I can answer that question.

Yes back when Quest went through their problems everyone @ vdi had problems, however since then level3 has been installed and the MCI line is expected to start instillation in around 2 and a half weeks now.

Once MCI is done there can be no more downage excuses blamed on line problems (unless two work crews are digging and happen to be able to somehow take out both the MCI and Level3 lines @ once)

Oh, okay thanks! So I guess, if Communitech pulls the plug, I have somewhere to turn to...
