Topic says it all.

I'm looking to get away from IBF and move into vBulliten. Before looking on their site and checking out the order information I figured there's always a deal going on at WHT and I might aswell check here.

Not sure if I'll upgrade soon as I'd need to go find IBF -> vB convertors and what not, but I'm definitly looking to move away.

Bryan,

I have a vB license I no longer need. It expires 09-04-2003 and asking $100 [firm] via verified PayPal. I purchased the license from Mythril on these forums awhile back.

Hello,

Yeah guys, I'm not looking for an alternative. I have used IBF, phpBB, and just about everything else and want to move to vBulliten for our company support/community forums. They havea better community feel, more features, etc.

vipe: What type of license is it? Leased or Owned?

I just went to their site and I'm wanting the Owned license, because it allows renewals for $30/year.

My question is, it looks like you must pay $135 for each new versions, or is this just to have them perform the uprades?

Thank you.

its to have them perform the upgrades.

Actually, I put a hack or two on IBF and in all honesty it's a pain in the *bleep* to try to get them to work properly.

I don't know, I think it's coded kind of sloppy. His output system is kinda bleh... and the positioning of the 'Quick Reply' hack is way off where it should be.

The 'mark as read' never works, I rarely get subscription notices and I subscribed to every forum....

Anyways, I visit 7 vB forums and they sure the heck blast away IBF in my opinion, but you're right, it's my money, and I prefer vB.

Yeah... i think they should make the cost of vbulletin lower...

Else people will begin cracking&hacking the board..

(i've seen it before)
