Hi! I am about registering a .com domain, but I would prefer to hide my real home address in the WHOIS information (not my name and surname).
I don't want to fake it (which is probably illegal or at least very dangerous in case of controversy), but I would like to know if it's legally possible to hide it from the WHOIS, maybe with some particular registrar.

Do you know of any registrar which does this?

I think there are options to do so, probably a higher price i think.

The registrar that will do this is

http://www.domainsbyproxy.com/

(Sister business of GoDaddy) They actually will use their own information in the whois, while letting you control the name. Check their site for the details.
