Hi,

First I posted here because I'm confused with so many webhostings and their plans, also I hardly ever get any information about what kind of stats they're using. So I think asking for your opinions here is the best way.

Maybe I'd better tell my requirements:
1. Good statistic, I wonder if there's a webhosting with webtrends (with my budget requirement, I don't think there's any). I also have an experience with a good stat, I forgot the name, I think it's 'Live Stats' (but I wonder if this stat is only for NT hosting). The other stats like WUSAGE, http-analyze, Website Reporter cannot meet my requirement, so please don't give me any webhosting suggestion using this stat.

2. Not too much space, 50-100MB is enough

3. Minimum 6GB traffic limit

4. Max monthly payment $20 :) (it's not required though)

5. Fast connection, no T1 please :)

If you have any experience on webhostings which have above features, please tell me in this forum and please cc to my email on idwi@yahoo.com.

Thanks in advance.

Just curious, but what information are you looking for that http-analyze can't give you?

Interland had Webtrends a few years ago when I resold for them. I would not recommend them though due to billing and tech support problems that I had. In fairness, these problems were years ago however.
I did really like the stats program though!

I currently host with Interland. They do still have WebTrends, and are actually working on rolling out the newest version on all of their servers. (See report.interland.com). As for the price, it is a little bit more than $20 a month if you have a 6 GB minimum requirement. I'm sure they can arrange to let you on their minimal plan and just purchase extra bandwidth. Interland does have an OC-48 connection with multiple T-3's to other backbones or something like that. It's all on their page. They also have an online support center in case you don't like talking to people. Having spoken to several people over there, I have found that those tickets are passed around until someone that knows how to solve that particular problem gets the ticket and resolves it. I've found that the normal turnaround time is about 24-48 hours or so. Their phone support has gotten a lot better though... down from an hour and a half hold times a few months ago to immediate answers. I have waited as long as 20 minutes once lately, but even so, it still beat out waiting on hold with a couple other hosting companies I tried. Hope this helps!

Most statistics software can display url referrer etc.. however some hosts turn this logging feature off to reduce the burden on the server.

Hostrocket.com has a plan that has almost twice the storage and transfer you want for 9.95 a month. I've never personally hosted with them but I hear they have good service (Alabanza servers).

reyesj9@hotmail.com,

Do you really think we are that stupid? Here you say you have no personal experience with them and then at http://www.webhostingtalk.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/000036.html
you say you work for them. Yes, it is the same person... Did you bother to look in the bottom of the message where it records your IP address?

You just screwed yourself over in my book... I am sure you run your company with the same ethics you showed here, lying to your customers! Just wait until someone comes on this board or others and asks about your company...
