the first few days with fdc were great. fast, speedy response (though many mistakes on Adam's part, which were quickly resolved), etc...
but now that ive got all my accounts transfered from my old colocated server, etc... without fail, the namservers seem to go down. not once, not twice but as many as 4-5 times a day. using IPs to access ftp is still possible, but viewing the sites hosted on my reseller account (via their domain) are not.
is anyone else having this problem?
I signed up with them yesterday and I was having the same problem today. Could not access them. I could with FTP and control panel but not http. They were back up within the hour though.

I signed up... no communication since then, and GEAdam has not appeared online after I signed up....
Anyone recommend a company where I can get a reseller account setup NOW.. and I mean NOW. Not tomorrow, not in 5 hours... NOW.
Well, this is my first full day with FDC and already my site has been down 4 times so far.
I have been with nomonthlyfees.com for 1.5 years and I had down time once maybe twice.
Well the month is paid for.

yeah, well that's what some people in this forum warned about: the unstability of fdc. just goes to show you get what you paid for. so i am in no position to complain too much.

I am on AIM atleast 6+ hours/day.
We have been having a user crash the httpd - we are fixing the problem and everything will be running smoothly tomorrow.
C'mon guys, think positive. I only had 1 downtime with him at his other place and that's about it. FDC is just having difficulties as so do just about all do when starting up. Nothing is ever perfect, you just have to bare with the minor mishaps and think positive.

Give the newfound company a little slack.

its alll good as long as i know that someone is out there aware of the problem and trying hard to fix it. and at fdc there IS such a person.
who doesnt have downtimes. rackshack.net is so good and so huge yet they still cant bring back their main site for 24 hours.
We have swapped the HD to a new server
P4 2.4 GHZ 1 GB RAM

Yeah they still do NOT have there DNS servers with YIPES setup. They refuse to give an ETA as well.
