I"m trying to get a domain transferred on behalf of one of my clients. This company seems to be giving me the runaround. It's starting to look like they aren't going to release his domain name without a fight or some $$. I could be wrong.

You're telling me! My client is trying to get control of his domain name so he can switch. Sage made themselves administrative contact and when my client asked them to make him admin, this is what they told him:


"The administrative contact only means that we are the administrative contact for the domain, this is so the the governing bodies can approach us if there are any
problems with the domain.

We do not own it, you do, this is clearly stated in the owner flag of the domain.

We can change the admin contacts etc, however you will then be billed directly from ICANN/CORE and this will cost more."

Sooo...we're now trying to take them up on this offer. After 2 weeks, they still have not told us what we need to do to make my client the admin contact.
