View Full Version : I need a reliable service - NOTE: don't use aitcom.net

I need your help.

I have had nothing but problems with
every single hosting service I have had for the last 6 years, but nothing has been worse than
what I have now.

Currently I have aitcom.net. They are proving
to be an unmitigated disaster. In the last week of December alone, my secure order server was down for the entire week, resulting in an untold loss of business.

I have had so many problems with them that tonight's mail server problem is the last straw.

Does anyone here have any solid recommendations?

I don't need a lot of hand-holding, but I do need reliability, as well as the following:

Unix/Apache preferred
PHP
SQL
Telnet
FTP
SSL Certificate
2+ gigs transfer
400+ meg disk space
Unlimited Autoresponders
Unlimited Email Aliases
Reliability
REliability
Reliability
Fast Support when needed.

Price not to exceed $30, with a money back guarantee and free setup.

All suggestions will be most appreciated.

Thanks.

Art

I am sorry to hear that, try posting your request in the web hosting request forum, which you can find it here

Your request seems pretty reasonable. I am sure you will get a host that matches that here, and is reliable for your business here.

I would #1 search this forum... there is a thread about "best host, worst host"... look over that. Post in the other forum... get info from companies and then do a search on them.

I used could recommend site5.com... but I've not been with them for about 6 months, I don't know. My current host is a windows provider.

Good luck.

but many offer SSH instead.

Good luck.

Thanks everyone...

I did do a search but apparently being new I missed it somehow, plus it was very late, or should I say early.

I'll take your suggestions and I'll repost to the proper forum..
