Am considering a reseller account and see 'unlimited domains'... Doesn't each account I sell require a cPanel (or some similar control panel). Doesn't cPanel have a 10 user license per server? Are some of these resellers saying unlimited domains but really mean 'yea, but only 10 control panels'?

most CPanel licenses are "unlimited user" licenses, AFAIK.

Maybe they are really saying "Yes, unlimited domains but only on ten accounts". Contact them and ask.

Those particular resellers may be partner NOCs, which would give them a higher user-per-server license.

No.

For Cpanel, there are only unlimited users licenses, unless its a WHM provided for a reseller, where accounts can be limited.

What j8h9 was asking (at least what I was able to understand) was that he was looking at a reseller offering and could not understand what the host meant by "Unlimited Domains". I take "cPanel" to mean any control panel and not just WHM/CPanel.

What he was not very sure about was that if he bought the reseller account, would "Unlimited Domains" translate into him being able to set up an unlimited number of accounts with their own control panels? OR would he be screwed out of his money after he created 'x' number of accounts WITH control panel access.

Well, j8h9, it's best if you ask the host offering the plan. They could mean either one:

1. Unlimited accounts with their own control panel access.
2. One account with a control panel and the ability to park an unlimited number of domains. (this doesn't make much sense for a reseller plan, IMHO).
