I believe I happened upon that site in my search to find out what to do with the PostGres Interbase that came on my RaQ4 and gave up. Installed MySQL instead and have been happy. I honestly can barely get around MySQL *with* MyPHPadmin installed, so if you can't find it on the Borland site, or if the RaQ4 manual doesn't help you, then errrrr...

I'm new to this dedicated server stuff.

I have a raq4i and would like to know how to check what database I have installed. I think it s interbase but I'd like to install MySql.

How would I go about removing Interbase and installing MySql?

I'm a newbie so if you could be more detail and specific would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

You shouldn't remove Interbase from your raq3. In Interbase the Raq stores all the data of the CP. Like a raq4 does with PostgreSQL. So don't remove. But you can download a pkg for mysql here (http://pkg.nl.cobalt.com/i386/RaQ3-RaQ4-MySQL-3.23.37-1.pkg).
