That is pretty common across all industries. Otherwise every company would have to bring in a professional photographer and that gets a bit pricey. If you look at a grocery store flyer, those particular items are standard clip art. The food pictured on the outside of packages usually isn't the same as what your results will be (can you tell it's about dinnertime? :D). You should choose images that represent something at least close to what your environment looks like. If your NOC is a broom closet in your basement, you probably shouldn't use an image that shows racks upon racks of servers in a huge warehouse-looking room. Of course, you could always do a Tacid... Just stay away from the blue Tacid, man. Most people who drop that Tacid have really bad trips and start hallucinating that their content is on Shang's site, or they freak out and start seeing Guadalupe Milk's picture everywhere, including CKone ads. That Tacid is some bad sh*t. I know many hosts put them for decoration purpose and don't want to mislead the users... but in fact it clould be misleading.
