Hello for all you in Canada wishing to get a toll free number, I suggest Sprint Canada.

I got a toll free number last week and it was FREE! I thought it was too good to be true aswell, so I did some research and it is infact free.

Basically, the terms.

If you sign an agreement for a ayear, it's 8 cents a min in USA and Canada, if you choose to do it on a monthly basis it's 9 cents a min Candian Funds. You do not pay a monthly fee or a setup fee or any other fees. You just pay for the mins!

Eg. If you get the toll free number, and nobody calls you that month you don't owe ANYTHING. So basically, you have the number, but you only pay for it when you actually uses it.

Here sprint charges $2.50/mo service fee, but it is still pretty good and their rates are better than the other big 3 guys...

Yeah, I have the same deal with Sprint. As long as you have your long distance with them, there's no monthly fee.

Actually, the guy told me that there is no monthly fee whether I have long distance with them or not. Apparently, if I had long distance with them, it'll be 8 cents a min instead of 9 cents.

I guess it's different in Montreal and Toronto. But, Sprint's long distance rates are outrageous!!!
