I'm thinking about going with a reseller, simply because the price is right for the package.
I'm just doing a basic personal site, so I don't have the concerns of a business site.
Are there any issues I should be aware of/watch out for in going with a reseller?

As most of the companies offering web space are resellers this should be ok. Do a search on this forum to look for good/bad comments of customers and use your common sense to decide.

My advice is to try to find out the name of a domain they are hosting and after that to monitor that site for a while (2 weeks) in order to decide.
The price idea for a basic plan should be around 5-6 dollars per month if you do not need huge space and transfer or big number of email accounts.
Try telaserv.net or hostsave.com or gnxonline.com I have contacted them and they are very quick in answering all your questions.
Do you need cheap and good web design? (I hope this will not be removed by the moderator)

Thanks,
I realize that (like telephone companies) each "seller" is pretty much piggybacking on top of someone else's service...but was concerned that the farther down the chain you go, the more potential problems.
Thanks again.
